How weighted GPA works
Each grade's points are multiplied by the course's credit hours, summed, and divided by total credits — so a 4-credit A lifts your GPA more than a 1-credit A. Typical scale: A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.
Note for other scales
Universities using percentage or 10-point scales publish their own conversion tables; enter the converted 4.0-scale value per course here.
