The short version
The tools on this site process your data (JSON, text, tokens, patterns) entirely in your browser. That data is never sent to our servers, stored, or logged. The site may show advertising, which involves third-party cookies as described below.
Data processed by the tools
All utilities on MyToolStash run client-side in JavaScript. Text you paste into the JSON formatter, Base64 converter, regex tester, JWT decoder, hash generator, and other tools stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you leave the page. We have no access to it.
Exception: the IP Lookup tool sends the IP address you enter (and only that) to the third-party geolocation service ipwho.is in order to return results. Their handling of that request is governed by their own privacy policy.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which tools are used most (page views, referral sources, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google's privacy policy; the data we see is aggregated and never includes the content you enter into any tool. You can block analytics with browser settings or extensions without affecting how the tools work.
Advertising and cookies
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom will be shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, in line with applicable law.

Pages may link to external documentation or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
Children
This site is a set of technical utilities and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add a new tool that requires a server-side component — this page will be updated and the date above revised.
